This Mobile App Data Agreement ("Agreement") applies to Serenity Book Tenants ("you" or "Tenant") who subscribe to the Serenity Book mobile app add-on and publish a branded mobile app powered by the Serenity Book platform. By checking the agreement checkbox in the mobile app setup wizard, you accept all terms in this Agreement.
1. Infrastructure and Data Ownership
Your branded mobile app is built on and hosted by Serenity Book infrastructure operated by Development Technologies Hub LLC. All end customer data collected through the app — including account information, booking history, and authentication credentials — is stored on Serenity Book servers and processed by Serenity Book as described in the Serenity Book Privacy Policy.
You retain ownership of your business relationship with your customers, but Serenity Book acts as the data processor for all personal data handled by the app.
2. Privacy Policy and App Store Disclosures
The Serenity Book Privacy Policy at serenitybook.net/privacy is the privacy policy displayed to end customers in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for your branded app. You agree that:
- The platform-wide privacy policy URL will be used for your app's App Store and Play Store listings.
- You will not represent to customers that a separate or different privacy policy governs the app.
- Any changes to applicable privacy practices will be reflected by Serenity Book in the platform-wide policy.
3. Disclosure to Your Customers
You are responsible for informing your customers that the mobile app is powered by a third-party platform (Serenity Book). This includes:
- Not misrepresenting the app as entirely proprietary technology owned by your business.
- Complying with any applicable disclosure requirements under consumer protection or privacy laws in your jurisdiction regarding the use of third-party software infrastructure.
4. App Decommissioning on Cancellation
If you cancel your Serenity Book subscription or your mobile app add-on is terminated for any reason:
- Your branded app will be decommissioned and removed from active use.
- Serenity Book is not obligated to export, migrate, or transfer app customer data to you or any third party.
- You should maintain your own records of customer relationships independent of the app platform.
Serenity Book will follow its standard data retention practices as described in the Privacy Policy for data associated with deactivated accounts.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the mobile app add-on only for lawful business purposes and in compliance with:
- Apple App Store and Google Play Store developer policies;
- All applicable privacy, consumer protection, and data protection laws;
- The Serenity Book Terms of Service.
Serenity Book reserves the right to suspend or terminate the mobile app add-on if your use violates these terms or puts the platform or other tenants at risk.
6. No Additional Warranties
The mobile app add-on is provided as part of the Serenity Book platform under the same warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability set out in the Serenity Book Terms of Service. Serenity Book makes no additional warranties specific to the mobile app add-on beyond those already stated in the Terms of Service.
7. Changes to This Agreement
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 14 days' notice by email or via the Serenity Book admin console. Continued use of the mobile app add-on after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
