SMS Opt-In Disclosure

How customers consent to appointment reminder texts on the Serenity Book platform

Serenity Book is a white-label booking platform used by independent service businesses. Each business ("tenant") that enables SMS reminders collects customer consent at the time of booking. The following describes exactly how that consent is obtained and what disclosures are shown.

Where opt-in appears

SMS consent is collected on the booking details step of the customer-facing booking flow — the same step where the customer enters their name, email, and phone number. The opt-in checkbox only becomes visible after the customer enters a phone number.

The following is a live render of the opt-in form element and disclosures exactly as customers see them:

By checking the text reminder box above, you consent to receive automated appointment reminder texts from [Business Name]. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Text HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

The disclosure block above appears directly below the "Review Booking" button, on the same screen as the opt-in checkbox, and is shown only when the customer has entered a phone number.
